Our first activity for Spanish 2 was a review lesson about what we learned in Spanish 1. Each table group was assigned with a topic to present, and my table was given the Present Tense Verbs. Present tense verbs are actions that are happening in the present. For our presentations, we had to create up with a poster, a skit, written exercises, and a choose your own product.
My group's poster shows all the conjugations for verbs with examples of conjugated verbs and sentences.
The written exercises consists of five sentences with spaces that students had to fill in.
Our skit was about the Salem Witch Trials where two supposed witches are begging for their lives while the executioner and audience argue with them.
For the "choose your own product", we created memes from three popular movies: Mean Girls, Forrest Gump, and Anchorman. The first meme is from Mean Girls which says, "You can't sit with us" in Spanish. The second one is from Forrest Gump saying, "Run, Forrest run." The third one is from Anchorman saying, "I immediately regret this decision." Each meme had to incorporate a conjugated present tense verb.
