Final prep
For our Spanish final, we had to pair up with another student in our class to carry out a four to ten minute conversation in Spanish. The conversation can include questions and any other conversation topics, however, if we break into English, we will be cut off. The final is at the end of this semester and with only about a month left, we start preparing for the conversation.
In preparation for our Spanish final, we had to record ourselves practicing with our partner a Spanish conversation that we will be using for the final. Unfortunately, my partner wasn't at school for about a week, so I was unable to practice any conversation with her. In our video, we go over many questions and a few comments in Spanish. We could definitely improve in our performance given time, but we had a minor setback due to my absent partner. Our video is linked below

critique
I think I have improved a lot since the first day of Spanish class because I have learned new vocabulary and new phrases. In the beginning, I knew only a little Spanish, but it wasn't enough to carry a basic conversation. Now, I know how to keep a conversation going and how to write in Spanish (which I couldn't before). Whenever I study, I try to spell words and pronounce it out loud so I can learn how to write and speak. I use Quizlet, the Apuntes page, a partner, and sometimes Duolingo. I can still improve a lot more on my sentence formation because I know more questions than phrases. I also want to learn more verbs in the present indicative and present progressive. If I were to take the final now, I think I would get a C+ or B- because I only know how to speak in conversation with questions and there is definitely more to a conversation than questions. I need to work on my sentence forming a bit more so I can pass the final successfully. The next step I am going to take to prepare myself for the final is working on sentence building and learning more vocabulary so I can fill in the sentence gaps. I want my final presentation to look like a normal conversation with normal sentences and occasional questions. I am going to work very hard to prepare myself for this exam and get a grade that I am happy with.
