Ellen DeGeneresThe purpose of this activity was to practice shading by drawing half a face. Students chose a person who inspired them to draw. After choosing a person, we had to print out a picture, cut the picture in half and draw the other half of their face. We also had to write a paragraph about our person. I chose Ellen DeGeneres who I drew (pictured left).
Paragraph Ellen DeGeneres is inspirational to me because she is not afraid to be herself in front of millions of people. She doesn't care what others think of her and she is very outgoing. Ellen is also openly lesbian and a female comedian, meaning she is confident with herself and won't let others tell her any different. She is kind, generous, compassionate and honest. Ellen will remain an inspiration to me because she wants to make the world a better place through laughter and happiness. |
