Graph My Motion: Project Reflection
What went well in this project?
I think what went well in this project was the compatibility my group had. The members of my group were Loren Cloes and Natalie Au. Our group was a group of three since there is an odd number of people in our class. Our group worked diligently with filming our video, graphing the distance vs seconds, and putting together the footage. We didn't have many issues working with each other since we are friends, but we worked hard and got our work done.
What struggles do you have and how did you overcome them?
We had trouble with filming because it would either be too bumpy or my finger would be in the way. It would get bumpy because Natalie was laughing and was having trouble keeping the camera steady. Loren got a little irritated because she was getting really dizzy doing cartwheels and we were messing up the video. So she had to keep doing cartwheels over and over and over again. We overcame it by choosing the video without a finger and was the least jittery.
What things did you do well concerning work ethic and what could you do to improve on?
Our group communicated really well and we distributed the work equally. For example, Natalie filmed the project and helped with graphing data, Loren was the actor and edited the video, and I graphed the data and helped edit the video. I think we could've improved on the quality of the video. The video was very shaky and it didn't come out the best that it could've been.
How would you change this project?
I would change the video in our project since it wasn't the best quality it could've been. It was filmed on a phone and it would've been much more professional if there was a better camera available. I would also change how much data we used. We could've used less data to make it simpler to graph for the rest of the class.
